Waldorf RN8606G-LS 800 Series - 900mm Gas Cooktop – Leg Stand

Waldorf RN8606G-LS 800 Series 900mm Gas Cooktop with 600mm Griddle – Leg Stand

The Waldorf RN8606G-LS is a 900mm modular gas combination unit from the 800 Series, pairing two open burners with a 600mm smooth griddle plate on a heavy-duty leg stand. Each open burner delivers 28MJ/hr, while the dedicated griddle burners run at 20MJ/hr each for a total output of 96MJ/hr, giving commercial kitchens the flexibility to sear, sauté and griddle simultaneously from a single unit. The griddle is positioned on the right-hand side as standard, and the unit accepts both natural gas and LPG connections via a 3/4" BSP male fitting.

Constructed from 304 stainless steel and manufactured in New Zealand, this cooktop is engineered for the demands of high-volume foodservice operations. Flame failure protection is fitted to every burner for added safety, and the combination of removable cast iron burners, vitreous enamel pot stands, reinforced control knobs, and thermostatic temperature control makes the unit straightforward to operate, clean, and service. An undershelf and splashback are included, and adjustable feet plus two additional rollers allow for flexible positioning and levelling on the kitchen floor.

Key Benefits

• Dual-purpose cooking surface lets one unit handle both open-flame burner cooking and flat griddle cooking simultaneously, reducing the need for separate appliances.
• Vitreous enamel pot stands with extended finger supports allow pots and pans to slide smoothly between burners without lifting, speeding up service during busy periods.
• Flame failure protection on all burners automatically cuts the gas supply if a flame is extinguished, improving kitchen safety.
• Thermostatic temperature control on the griddle (100–290°C) ensures consistent, repeatable results across different menu items.
• Removable cast iron burners make cleaning and routine maintenance faster, reducing kitchen downtime.
• Adjustable feet combined with two integrated rollers make it easy to level the unit on uneven floors and reposition it for cleaning or reconfiguration.
• Compatible with LPG and natural gas, providing installation flexibility across a wide range of commercial kitchen setups.
• Heavy-duty reinforced control knobs withstand the rigours of continuous commercial use without degrading in accuracy or feel.
