Waldorf RN8606G-CB 800 Series - 900mm Gas Cooktop – Cabinet Base

Waldorf RN8606G-CB 800 Series 900mm Gas Cooktop with 600mm Griddle – Cabinet Base

The Waldorf RN8606G-CB is a 900mm wide 800 Series gas cooktop combining two powerful open burners with a 600mm smooth griddle plate, all mounted on a solid cabinet base. Engineered in New Zealand from 304 stainless steel, it delivers a total output of 96MJ/hr across four burners, making it well suited to high-volume commercial kitchens that need versatile, consistent cooking performance in a single unit.

The cooktop is designed with everyday kitchen practicality in mind, featuring flame failure protection on every burner, removable cast iron burners, vitreous enamel pot stands with extended finger supports for easy pan transfers, and reinforced control knobs built to withstand heavy daily use. Adjustable feet and two integrated rollers simplify positioning, while the layout keeps the griddle on the right-hand side as standard for a logical cooking workflow.

Key Benefits

• Two 28MJ/hr open burners deliver rapid, responsive heat for sautéing, boiling and searing at high volume.
• The integrated 600mm smooth griddle, powered by two 20MJ/hr burners with thermostatic control between 100–290°C, provides consistent surface cooking for breakfast service, proteins and vegetables.
• Flame failure protection on all four burners automatically cuts gas if a flame is extinguished, supporting kitchen safety compliance.
• Vitreous enamel pot stands with extended finger supports allow pots and pans to slide smoothly from burner to burner without lifting, reducing strain and speeding up service.
• Adjustable feet combined with two additional rollers make it easy to level the unit on uneven floors and reposition it for cleaning or servicing.
• Removable cast iron burners and heavy-duty reinforced control knobs are built for repeated removal, cleaning and replacement, minimising maintenance downtime.
• Cabinet base with door provides enclosed underbench storage directly beneath the cooking surface, making efficient use of floor space in busy kitchens.
• Compatible with both natural gas and LPG supplies, giving flexibility across different venue types and locations.
