Waldorf RN8400SE-B 800 Series 600mm Electric Cooktop Sealed Hobs Bench Model

The Waldorf RN8400SE-B is a commercial-grade 600mm electric cooktop from the 800 Series, designed for demanding kitchen environments where reliability and ease of use are essential. It features four cast iron hot plate elements each rated at 2.6kW with built-in thermal protection, delivering consistent, controllable heat across four independent cooking zones.

Built to withstand the rigours of continuous commercial operation, the unit is finished in heavy-duty stainless steel with a one-piece worktop incorporating formed hob wells to contain spills and simplify cleaning. The bench mount configuration with adjustable stainless steel legs makes installation straightforward, while front-mounted controls with power indicator lights keep the cooking surface easy to monitor and operate.

Key Benefits

• Four independent 2.6kW cooking zones provide flexible heat management across multiple pots or pans simultaneously, improving kitchen throughput.
• Thermal protection on each cast iron element safeguards against overheating, reducing the risk of damage and extending the service life of the unit.
• Four heat position switches per element give cooks precise, repeatable control over cooking temperatures without complicated settings.
• Individual power indicator lights at the controls allow staff to instantly confirm which elements are active, supporting safe kitchen practices.
• One-piece worktop with formed hob wells contains spills at the source, keeping cleanup quick and preventing liquid from reaching internal components.
• Adjustable stainless steel bench legs allow the unit to be levelled on uneven surfaces and set to a comfortable working height between 80mm and 105mm.
• Heavy-duty reinforced control knobs resist the wear of repeated high-volume use, maintaining reliable operation over the long term.
