Waldorf IN8400F-B 800 Series - 900mm Electric Induction Cooktop - Bench Model

Waldorf IN8400F-B 800 Series 900mm Electric Induction Cooktop - Bench Model

The Waldorf IN8400F-B is a 900mm bench-mount electric induction cooktop from the 800 Series, purpose-built for demanding commercial kitchen environments. It features four full-area square induction zones, each delivering 5kW of power across a 270mm diameter cooking surface protected by a 6mm thick ceramic glass top, providing a total of 20kW of responsive, efficient cooking capacity.

Induction technology means heat is generated directly in the cookware rather than the cooking surface, resulting in a cooler, safer kitchen environment and significantly reduced energy waste. Automatic pan detection disables each zone the moment cookware is removed, while large individual control knobs with infinitely variable power settings give chefs precise, consistent control over every dish. A stainless steel splashback and heavy-duty construction round out a unit designed for straightforward installation, cleaning, and servicing.

Key Benefits

• Instant, responsive heat adjustment across four independent zones allows chefs to react quickly to changing service demands without lag time.
• Automatic pan detection cuts power to a zone the moment cookware is lifted, improving energy efficiency and reducing the risk of accidental burns.
• Infinitely variable power controls on each zone enable precise temperature management for consistent, repeatable cooking results.
• The cool-to-touch ceramic glass surface between active zones makes the cooktop significantly safer than gas or radiant electric alternatives in a busy kitchen.
• A cooler overall cooking environment reduces heat load in the kitchen, contributing to a more comfortable working space and lower air-conditioning costs.
• Heavy-duty construction supports the rigours of continuous commercial use, while the smooth ceramic glass surface and stainless steel splashback simplify daily cleaning.
• Dedicated heating-on, pan detection, and error indicator lights give staff at-a-glance status information for each zone, helping to identify and resolve issues quickly.
• Bench-mount configuration offers flexibility in kitchen layout and allows straightforward integration into existing countertop setups.
