Waldorf IN8200R5-CB 800 Series 450mm Electric Induction Cooktop Low Back Version Cabinet Base

The Waldorf IN8200R5-CB is a 450mm wide double-zone electric induction cooktop from the 800 Series, mounted on a heavy-duty cabinet base and designed for the demands of busy commercial kitchens. It features two 5kW round induction zones, each 270mm in diameter, set into a 6mm thick ceramic glass cooking surface for fast, responsive and precisely controlled heat delivery.

Built for ease of operation and durability, the unit includes automatic pan detection that cuts power to each zone the moment cookware is removed, reducing energy waste and improving surface safety. A 1.2mm stainless steel splashback, stainless steel legs with four adjustable feet, and a low back configuration round out a practical, kitchen-ready installation.

Key Benefits

• Induction technology delivers rapid heat response and precise power adjustment, helping kitchen staff maintain consistent cooking results across service periods.
• Automatic pan detection switches off each induction zone immediately when cookware is lifted, saving energy and keeping the cooking surface cooler and safer for staff.
• Infinitely variable power control via large, easy-to-use knobs on each zone gives cooks fine-grained control without complex digital interfaces.
• A cooler ambient cooking environment compared to gas or radiant electric reduces kitchen heat load, improving comfort and potentially lowering cooling costs.
• The 6mm thick ceramic glass surface is smooth and non-porous, making it straightforward to wipe down quickly between services.
• Heating-on, pan detection and error indicator lights give operators at-a-glance status for each zone, supporting faster troubleshooting during a busy service.
• Heavy-duty construction and a cabinet base provide a stable, integrated workstation that suits high-volume professional use.
• Stainless steel legs with four adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled precisely on uneven kitchen floors.
