Waldorf Bold GPLB8450G-CD 450mm Gas Griddle Low Back Version Cabinet Base

The Waldorf Bold GPLB8450G-CD is a 450mm wide gas griddle mounted on a cabinet base, designed for high-volume commercial kitchens requiring consistent, reliable cooking performance. Featuring a 40MJ thermostatic burner system and a 20mm thick griddle plate, it delivers even heat across the cooking surface with precise temperature control between 100 and 290°C, making it well suited to breakfasts, burgers, proteins and a wide range of grilled menu items.

Constructed from 304 stainless steel throughout, the unit is built to withstand the demands of professional kitchen environments. The low back version integrates cleanly into counter lines, and the cabinet base provides practical undercounter storage. Available in the default black finish or alternative colour options, the Bold range also offers optional ribbed or chrome mirror plate configurations to suit different cooking requirements.

Key Benefits

• The 40MJ thermostatic burner system maintains precise temperatures between 100 and 290°C, reducing the risk of over or undercooking during busy service periods.
• A 20mm thick griddle plate retains heat evenly across the entire cooking surface, minimising hot spots and ensuring consistent results across large batch cooking.
• Top weld sealed plates and a welded hob surround make cleaning faster and more thorough, reducing labour between services.
• The stainless steel grease drawer simplifies grease collection and disposal, helping maintain hygiene standards and speeding up end-of-service cleaning routines.
• Heavy-duty 63mm diameter stainless steel legs with adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled accurately on uneven kitchen floors, contributing to safe and stable operation.
• Optional ribbed or chrome mirror plate upgrades allow the unit to be configured for different cooking applications such as chargrilling presentation or high-heat searing.
• The cabinet base provides enclosed undercounter storage, making productive use of the space beneath the griddle and keeping the kitchen organised.
