Waldorf GPLB8120G-LS Bold - 1200mm Gas Griddle Low Back Version - Leg Stand

Waldorf Bold GPLB8120G-LS 1200mm Gas Griddle Low Back Version with Leg Stand

The Waldorf Bold GPLB8120G-LS is a 1200mm commercial gas griddle mounted on a leg stand, designed for high-volume kitchens requiring consistent, reliable cooking performance across a large flat surface. Built from 304 stainless steel and manufactured in New Zealand, it delivers 108MJ/h of thermostatic burner output across four burners, giving operators precise temperature control between 100°C and 290°C for everything from breakfast service to burgers and seared proteins.

Engineered with a 20mm thick griddle plate and top weld sealed construction, this unit retains heat evenly and withstands the rigours of continuous commercial use. The low back version suits counter-level sightlines in open kitchen environments, while the leg stand configuration provides a stable, self-contained cooking station. A stainless steel grease drawer, push-button piezo ignition, and heavy-duty reinforced control knobs make daily operation straightforward, and optional ribbed or chrome mirror plate surfaces allow the unit to be configured to suit specific menu requirements.

Key Benefits

• The 20mm thick griddle plate ensures excellent heat retention and even temperature distribution across the full 1200mm cooking surface, reducing hot spots and improving cook consistency.
• Thermostatic temperature control across a 100°C to 290°C range gives chefs precise, repeatable results whether cooking delicate eggs or searing high-volume burgers.
• Push-button piezo ignition allows fast, reliable lighting without the need for matches or external ignitors, speeding up start-of-service setup.
• Top weld sealed plates prevent food debris and grease from penetrating seams, making surface cleaning faster and supporting food safety compliance.
• The stainless steel grease drawer captures drippings neatly beneath the cooking surface, reducing mess and simplifying end-of-service clean-down.
• Adjustable feet and two additional rollers allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors and repositioned within the kitchen without heavy lifting.
• Heavy-duty reinforced control knobs are built to withstand repeated daily use in demanding commercial environments, reducing maintenance and replacement costs.
• Optional ribbed or chrome mirror plate configurations let operators adapt the same griddle platform to different menu styles, from char-marked proteins to delicate fish or eggs.
• Compatible with both natural gas and LPG, the unit suits a wide range of venue types and existing gas infrastructure.
