Waldorf Bold GPLB8120G-B 1200mm Gas Griddle Low Back Version – Bench Model

The Waldorf Bold GPLB8120G-B is a heavy-duty 1200mm bench-mounted gas griddle designed for high-volume commercial kitchens. Built in New Zealand from 304 stainless steel, it delivers 108MJ/hr across four thermostatic burners, giving operators precise temperature control between 100°C and 290°C for a wide range of cooking applications from breakfasts and burgers to seared proteins and grilled vegetables.

The unit features a 20mm thick smooth griddle plate with top weld sealed construction to retain heat evenly and resist warping under sustained use. Push-button piezo ignition, heavy-duty reinforced control knobs, and a stainless steel grease drawer make daily operation straightforward, while adjustable feet and two additional rollers aid positioning and maintenance access. Optional ribbed or chrome mirror plate configurations are available, and the signature Waldorf Bold aesthetic comes in black as standard with additional colour options on request.

Key Benefits

• Four thermostatic burners delivering 108MJ/hr (30kW) provide consistent, zone-controlled heat across the full 1200mm cooking surface, reducing hot spots and improving cook quality.
• A 20mm thick griddle plate retains and distributes heat evenly, enabling faster recovery between loads during peak service periods.
• Top weld sealed plates prevent grease and food debris from penetrating joints, simplifying cleaning and extending the plate's service life.
• Push-button piezo ignition allows quick, reliable start-up without the need for a separate lighter, saving time and improving safety.
• The stainless steel grease drawer channels fat and residue away from the cooking surface into a contained, easy-to-remove tray, speeding up post-service clean-down.
• Adjustable feet and two additional rollers make it straightforward to level the unit on uneven flooring and reposition it for cleaning or servicing without heavy lifting.
• Compatible with both natural gas and LPG via a 3/4 BSP male connection, giving operators flexibility across different site configurations.
• Optional ribbed or chrome mirror plate upgrades allow the same unit to suit diverse menu requirements without needing an additional piece of equipment.
