Waldorf GPB8600G-CD Bold - 600mm Gas Griddle - Cabinet Base

Waldorf Bold GPB8600G-CD 600mm Gas Griddle with Cabinet Base

The Waldorf Bold GPB8600G-CD is a 600mm gas griddle built for the rigours of high-volume commercial kitchens. Mounted on a solid cabinet base, it delivers 53MJ/hr of thermostatic-controlled heat across a 20mm thick griddle plate, making it well suited to continuous breakfast service, burger cookery, and any high-throughput flat-top application. The unit is manufactured from 304 stainless steel and originates from Waldorf's New Zealand production facility.

Designed with operator convenience in mind, the GPB8600G-CD features push-button piezo ignition, heavy-duty reinforced control knobs, and a stainless steel grease drawer for fast, hygienic clean-downs between services. The cabinet base offers enclosed storage, while adjustable feet and two additional rollers make positioning straightforward. The default finish is black with further colour options available, and optional ribbed or chrome mirror plate surfaces allow the unit to be configured to specific menu requirements.

Key Benefits

• Thermostatic temperature control across a 100-290°C range ensures consistent cooking results and reduces the risk of over or undercooking during busy service periods.
• A 20mm thick griddle plate retains heat effectively, recovering temperature quickly when cold product is loaded and maintaining even heat distribution across the full cooking surface.
• Push-button piezo ignition speeds up start-of-day setup and eliminates the need for a separate ignition source, reducing downtime at the beginning of service.
• The stainless steel grease drawer channels fat and debris away from the cooking zone and pulls out for rapid emptying, supporting faster turnaround between sittings.
• Top weld sealed plates prevent grease and moisture from penetrating joints, simplifying cleaning and extending the working life of the unit.
• Adjustable feet combined with two additional rollers allow the griddle to be levelled on uneven floors and repositioned without the need for additional equipment.
• Compatible with both natural gas and LPG supplies via a 3/4 BSP male connection, giving flexibility for different site configurations.
• Optional ribbed or chrome mirror plate surfaces let operators tailor the unit to specific cooking styles, from searing and char marks to delicate proteins requiring a smooth, reflective surface.
