Waldorf GPB8600G-B Bold - 600mm Gas Griddle - Bench Model

Waldorf Bold GPB8600G-B 600mm Gas Griddle Bench Model

The Waldorf Bold GPB8600G-B is a 600mm bench-mounted gas griddle engineered for high-volume commercial kitchens. Powered by a 53 MJ/hr thermostatic burner system delivering 14.7 kW across two burners, it maintains precise temperatures between 100°C and 290°C, making it well suited to everything from breakfast service to burgers and grilled proteins throughout a busy trade day.

Manufactured in New Zealand from 304 stainless steel, this griddle features a 20mm thick smooth griddle plate with top weld sealed construction for a hygienic, long-lasting cooking surface. The unit ships in black as standard with additional colour options available, and can be optionally specified with a ribbed or chrome mirror plate to suit different menu requirements.

Key Benefits

• Thermostatic temperature control from 100°C to 290°C allows precise heat management across different menu items, reducing the risk of over or undercooking.
• The 20mm thick griddle plate stores and distributes heat evenly, minimising hot spots and supporting consistent results during peak service periods.
• Top weld sealed plates eliminate gaps where food debris and grease can accumulate, significantly simplifying daily cleaning and improving hygiene compliance.
• A dedicated stainless steel grease drawer captures drippings during cooking and pulls out cleanly for quick emptying between services.
• Push-button piezo ignition provides fast, tool-free startup without the need for a separate ignition source, reducing downtime at the beginning of service.
• Heavy-duty reinforced control knobs withstand the rigours of continuous commercial use, maintaining reliable operation over the long term.
• Adjustable feet and two additional rollers make positioning and levelling the unit straightforward, whether on a bench or when relocating for cleaning.
• Compatible with both natural gas and LPG via a 3/4 inch BSP male connection, providing installation flexibility across different venue types.
• Optional ribbed or chrome mirror plate configurations allow the same unit to be adapted for different cooking styles or presentation requirements.
