Waldorf GPB8600E-CD Bold - 600mm Electric Griddle - Cabinet Base

Waldorf Bold GPB8600E-CD 600mm Electric Griddle with Cabinet Base

The Waldorf Bold GPB8600E-CD is a 600mm electric griddle unit seated on a fully enclosed cabinet base, purpose-built for the rigours of high-volume commercial kitchen operation. Manufactured in New Zealand from 304 stainless steel throughout, it draws on 7.2kW of element power delivered through a 20mm thick machined griddle plate, providing consistent, even heat suited to breakfast service, burgers, grilled proteins and a broad range of other menu items.

This unit forms part of Waldorf's fully modular Bold range, allowing it to be paired with matching equipment to create a cohesive kitchen suite. The enclosed cabinet base is constructed with a twin-wall stainless steel design, rides on heavy-duty legs with adjustable feet, and the griddle surface is available with optional ribbed or hard chrome mirror plate finishes to accommodate varied cooking requirements.

Key Benefits

• A 20mm thick machined griddle plate retains and distributes heat evenly across the entire cooking surface, minimising hot spots and improving consistency across a full service period.
• A single thermostatic control zone spanning 50-300°C gives operators precise temperature management across a wide variety of menu items.
• Overlapping plate finish at the front and rear, together with a dedicated stainless steel grease drawer, allows fast and thorough cleaning between service periods.
• Optional ribbed plate sections or hard chrome mirror plate finishes let the unit be configured for different cooking styles without the need for an additional piece of equipment.
• The fully modular cabinet base, built with a two-layer 304 stainless steel construction on both its inner and outer surfaces using 0.9mm sheet, integrates seamlessly into a matched suite for a consistent and professional kitchen layout.
• Heavy-duty heat-resistant reinforced control knobs with easy-view settings, along with indicator lights for power and heating status, support operational safety and usability throughout a busy service.
• Adjustable feet and two included rollers make installation, repositioning and routine servicing straightforward, helping to minimise kitchen downtime.
• Top weld sealed plates and side and rear splash guards fabricated from 2.5mm thick 304 stainless steel protect adjacent surfaces and streamline end-of-service cleaning.
• An optional GN 1/1 four-position racking kit for the cabinet base provides practical below-counter storage, improving workflow efficiency in space-constrained kitchens.
