Waldorf GP8900E-B 800 Series - 900mm Electric Griddle - Bench Model

Waldorf GP8900E-B 800 Series 900mm Electric Griddle Bench Model

The Waldorf GP8900E-B is a 900mm electric griddle bench model from the heavy-duty 800 Series, purpose-built for demanding commercial kitchen environments. Powered by 12kW heating elements across a substantial 20mm thick machined griddle plate, it delivers exceptional heat retention and even temperature distribution across the entire cooking surface, making it equally at home cooking breakfasts, burgers, fish and a wide range of other menu items throughout a busy service.

Constructed from 304 stainless steel throughout, the GP8900E-B features a welded hob surround, top weld sealed plates and overlapping front-to-rear plate finish for straightforward cleaning and maintenance. The bench model ships with four 63mm diameter heavy-duty stainless steel legs with adjustable feet and two additional rollers, providing installation flexibility and ease of repositioning. Optional ribbed plate sections or mirror finish hard chrome plates allow the unit to be configured to suit specific cooking applications.

Key Benefits

• The 20mm thick machined griddle plate provides superior heat retention and uniform heat distribution, reducing hot spots and delivering consistent cooking results across the full 900mm surface.
• Separate left and right heat zones with independent 50–300°C thermostats allow operators to run different cooking temperatures simultaneously, increasing menu flexibility and efficiency during service.
• Top weld sealed plates and an overlapping front and rear plate finish minimise food and grease traps, making the surface faster and easier to clean between services.
• A dedicated stainless steel grease drawer collects runoff cleanly and slides out for quick emptying, supporting high-turnover kitchens where downtime for cleaning must be kept to a minimum.
• Heavy-duty reinforced control knobs with easy-view settings and indicator lights for power and heating allow staff to monitor and adjust cooking conditions at a glance without interrupting service.
• Adjustable bench legs with 80–105mm height range and two additional rollers make installation straightforward and allow the unit to be repositioned on the bench or moved between workstations as required.
• Optional ribbed plate sections or mirror finish hard chrome plates mean the griddle can be tailored to specific cooking styles, from traditional flat grilling to producing sear marks or specialist chrome-surface cooking.
• A 2-year parts and labour warranty, combined with a design focused on easy service access, helps protect the kitchen's investment and minimises disruption from unplanned maintenance.
