Waldorf GP8600G-CB 800 Series - 600mm Gas Griddle – Cabinet Base

Waldorf GP8600G-CB 800 Series 600mm Gas Griddle with Cabinet Base

The Waldorf GP8600G-CB is a 600mm gas griddle from the 800 Series, mounted on a fully enclosed cabinet base and built for the rigours of high-volume commercial kitchens. Manufactured in New Zealand from 304 stainless steel, it delivers 53 MJ/h of thermostatic-controlled heat across a 590mm x 530mm smooth cooking surface, with a temperature range of 100–290°C controlled by two burners rated at a combined 14.7 kW.

The griddle plate is 20mm thick with top weld sealed construction, providing exceptional heat retention and consistent heat distribution from edge to edge. An optional ribbed or chrome mirror plate is available, making this unit equally suited to breakfasts, burgers, seafood and more. Push-button piezo ignition, a stainless steel grease drawer, heavy-duty reinforced control knobs and adjustable feet with two additional rollers ensure the unit is straightforward to operate, clean and reposition on the kitchen floor.

Key Benefits

• Thermostatic temperature control from 100–290°C allows precise cooking of diverse menu items without constant manual adjustment.
• The 20mm thick griddle plate retains and distributes heat evenly across the full 590mm x 530mm cooking surface, reducing hot spots and improving food quality consistency.
• Top weld sealed plate construction prevents grease and food debris from penetrating seams, making daily cleaning faster and more thorough.
• Push-button piezo ignition enables quick, reliable lighting without the need for a match or lighter, reducing downtime during service.
• A dedicated stainless steel grease drawer captures drippings efficiently, simplifying grease management and supporting a safer, cleaner work environment.
• Adjustable feet combined with two additional rollers make it easy to level the unit on uneven floors and reposition it for cleaning or kitchen reconfiguration.
• Optional ribbed or chrome mirror plate upgrades allow the same unit to be adapted for different cooking applications, protecting your investment as menu requirements change.
• Enclosed cabinet base provides secure, concealed storage space beneath the cooking surface, maximising utility in kitchens where bench space is limited.
• 24-month warranty and New Zealand manufacturing back the unit's long-term reliability in demanding commercial environments.
