Waldorf GP8600E-B 800 Series - 600mm Electric Griddle – Bench Model

Waldorf GP8600E-B 800 Series 600mm Electric Griddle – Bench Model

The Waldorf GP8600E-B is a 600mm bench-mount electric griddle from the heavy-duty 800 Series, purpose-built for high-volume commercial kitchens. Its 20mm thick machined griddle plate delivers exceptional heat retention and consistent heat distribution across the entire cooking surface, making it equally at home cooking breakfasts, burgers, seafood and more across a single temperature control zone.

Constructed throughout in 304 stainless steel, the GP8600E-B features a welded hob surround, sealed top-weld plates and overlapping front and rear plate edges for fast, thorough cleaning. Four heavy-duty bench legs with adjustable feet and two additional rollers provide stable, flexible installation, while optional ribbed or chrome mirror plate finishes allow the griddle to be configured to suit specific menu requirements.

Key Benefits

• The 20mm thick griddle plate retains and distributes heat evenly, reducing hot spots and ensuring consistent cooking results across the full surface.
• A single temperature control zone with a 50–300°C thermostat gives operators precise, straightforward control suited to a wide range of ingredients and cooking styles.
• Top weld sealed plates and overlapping front and rear plate edges minimise grease traps, making end-of-service cleaning faster and more thorough.
• The stainless steel grease drawer captures run-off efficiently, reducing mess and speeding up routine maintenance between service periods.
• Heavy-duty heat-resistant reinforced control knobs with clearly visible settings reduce the risk of operator error during busy service.
• Adjustable bench legs (80–105mm height range) and two additional rollers allow easy repositioning and levelling on uneven floors without tools.
• Optional ribbed plate sections or hard chrome mirror finish plates let operators tailor the cooking surface to specific menu items such as char-marked proteins or delicate fish.
• Single-phase electrical connection (230–240Vac, 30A) simplifies installation in kitchens without three-phase power infrastructure.
• Manufactured in New Zealand to Waldorf's commercial-grade standards, the unit carries a 24-month warranty for added operational confidence.
