Waldorf SF8600-CB Solid Fuel Grill Splashback Version

Waldorf 800 Series SF8600-CB 600mm Solid Fuel Chargrill with 215mm Splashback and Cabinet Base

The SF8600-CB is a 600mm wide solid fuel chargrill belonging to the heavy-duty Waldorf 800 Series, manufactured in New Zealand to exacting standards and engineered for high-volume commercial kitchens that require authentic char-grilled results over solid fuel. The firebox is constructed with a 50mm layer of refractory brick lining that delivers exceptional heat retention, complemented by robust stainless steel rod grates and a fully open firebox design that keeps cleaning quick and practical during and after service.

This model incorporates a 215mm splashback to shield the wall behind the unit from grease, moisture and heat, and sits on a cabinet base that provides enclosed undercounter storage to keep the kitchen organised. Fully modular in design, the SF8600-CB integrates seamlessly into a matched Waldorf 800 Series suite, and an optional GN 1/1 four-position racking kit is available to extend cooking versatility across varying menu requirements.

Key Benefits

• Refractory brick lining within the firebox retains and radiates intense, even heat, producing consistent char-grilling performance across the entire grate surface.
• The open firebox configuration allows fast, easy removal of ash and debris, minimising downtime throughout busy service periods.
• The 215mm splashback shields the wall behind the unit from grease, moisture and heat, making the kitchen cleaner and easier to maintain.
• Fully modular construction allows the unit to pair with other Waldorf 800 Series appliances for a cohesive, professional suite finish.
• Legs measuring 63mm in diameter are fabricated from 1.2mm stainless steel with adjustable feet, ensuring a stable, level installation on uneven floors.
• A 24-month parts and labour warranty provides confidence in long-term reliability and helps reduce unplanned maintenance costs.
• The optional GN 1/1 four-position racking kit introduces flexible cooking configurations to accommodate a wider range of menu demands.
