Waldorf PCB8140E7 Bold - 450mm Electric Pasta Cooker

Waldorf PCB8140E7 Bold 450mm Single Pan Electric Pasta Cooker

The Waldorf Bold PCB8140E7 is a high-performance 450mm single-pan electric pasta cooker designed for demanding commercial kitchens, pasta bars and high-volume service environments. Built in New Zealand to Waldorf's exacting standards, it features a 40-litre 316 grade stainless steel open pan heated by a heavy-duty 3-coil Incoloy 825 element rated at 7.0kW on a single-phase supply, delivering fast heat-up and rapid recovery to keep service moving without interruption.

The unit is supplied as standard with six stainless steel pasta baskets with moulded handle grips, an incorporated basket drain stand, and an integrated water fill and starch-skimming faucet for streamlined operation. Construction combines 1.5mm 316 stainless steel for the pan with 304 stainless steel throughout the body, splashback, side panels and legs, ensuring long-term durability and easy cleaning. Adjustable feet and rear rollers allow flexible placement and levelling within a modular bold line configuration.

Key Benefits

• Rapid heat recovery from the 7.0kW Incoloy 825 element minimises downtime between pasta batches during peak service.
• The 40-litre 316 stainless steel open pan resists corrosion and starch build-up, making end-of-day cleaning quick and thorough.
• Six included stainless steel baskets with moulded grips allow simultaneous cooking of multiple pasta portions for efficient ticket management.
• The integrated water fill and starch-skimming faucet lets staff refresh water and skim starch without interrupting service or using separate tools.
• A fail-safe over-temperature safety cut-out and element tilt switch protect the unit from dry-fire damage, reducing the risk of costly element replacement.
• Three power settings (boil, simmer, standby) combined with a 30°C to 110°C mechanical thermostat give cooks precise control over cooking and holding temperatures.
• The incorporated basket drain stand keeps wet baskets contained and organised at the unit, improving workflow and reducing spills on the floor.
• Fully modular bold line design integrates with other Waldorf 450mm bold series equipment, enabling efficient suite configurations in tight kitchen footprints.
• Adjustable feet and rear rollers make positioning and levelling straightforward, even on uneven floors.
