Waldorf CHLB8900G-B Bold - 900mm Gas Chargrill Low Back Version - Bench Model

Waldorf Bold CHLB8900G-B 900mm Gas Chargrill – Low Back Bench-Mount Model

The Waldorf Bold CHLB8900G-B is a 900mm wide, bench-mounted gas chargrill engineered in New Zealand for high-volume commercial kitchens. Its three 304 stainless steel U-burners deliver a combined output of 100 MJ/h (27.8 kW), producing authentic char marks and consistent, intense heat across the full cooking surface for meats, vegetables and more. The unit features a low back profile with an integral splashback and is supplied in a default black finish, with additional colour options available.

Designed with operator safety and daily practicality in mind, the CHLB8900G-B incorporates flame failure protection, an inclined grate position for grease management, and a removable internal arrangement that keeps end-of-service cleaning straightforward. Compatible with both natural gas and LPG via a 3/4" BSP male connection, the bench format integrates readily into existing counter runs or operates as a standalone cooking station, giving kitchen planners genuine layout flexibility.

Key Benefits

• Three individually controlled 33 MJ/h burners with variable high-low temperature settings allow separate cooking zones to run at different temperatures simultaneously, boosting throughput during peak service.
• The angled grate position channels grease away from the flame rather than allowing it to drip directly onto the burners, reducing flare-ups and supporting a safer, cleaner cooking environment.
• Gas flow is automatically cut if a flame is extinguished, thanks to flame failure protection backed by a standing pilot ignition system, providing a critical safeguard in a busy kitchen.
• Reversible heavy-duty cast iron grates can be flipped to extend the usable life of the cooking surface and offer flexibility across different grilling styles and presentation requirements.
• The internal components, including the grates, radiants and baffles, are all designed to be removed individually, making post-service cleaning faster and helping uphold food safety standards.
• Heavy-duty reinforced control knobs are built to withstand constant commercial use, reducing the likelihood of downtime caused by premature component wear.
• Dual-fuel compatibility with both natural gas and LPG via a 3/4" BSP male connection means the unit can be installed across a variety of site configurations without modification.
• The bench-mount format suits integration into existing counter runs or standalone use, maximising flexibility when planning or reconfiguring kitchen layouts.
• Backed by a 24-month warranty and constructed from 304 stainless steel throughout, the unit is built for long-term corrosion resistance in demanding professional kitchen conditions.
