Waldorf CHLB8120G-B Bold - 1200mm Gas Chargrill Low Back Version - Bench Model

Waldorf Bold CHLB8120G-B 1200mm Gas Chargrill Low Back Version Bench Model

The Waldorf Bold CHLB8120G-B is a 1200mm wide bench-model gas chargrill engineered for high-volume commercial kitchens that demand consistent, authentic char results across a large cooking surface. Featuring four 304 stainless steel U-burners delivering a combined output of 133 MJ/hr (36.9 kW), it produces even, intense heat to sear meats and vegetables with classic char marks every service.

Designed and manufactured in New Zealand, this chargrill prioritises both performance and practicality. The grill grates are inclined to reduce flare-ups and direct grease away efficiently, while lift-out grates, radiants and baffles make thorough cleaning straightforward. It is available in the signature Waldorf Bold finish, with black as the default colour and additional colour options on request.

Key Benefits

• Four high-output U-burners spread heat evenly across the full 1200mm cooking surface, supporting simultaneous cooking of large volumes of product during peak service.
• Inclined grate position channels grease away from burners, actively reducing flare-ups and helping to maintain consistent cooking temperatures.
• Reversible heavy-duty cast iron grates extend the working life of the cooking surface and allow operators to choose the ideal grate profile for different products.
• Flame failure protection with a continuous pilot burner enhances kitchen safety by automatically shutting off gas if a flame is extinguished.
• Lift-out grates, radiants and baffles allow fast, thorough cleaning between services, reducing downtime and supporting food safety compliance.
• Heavy-duty reinforced control knobs withstand the rigours of a busy kitchen environment and provide precise variable high-to-low temperature control on each burner.
• Compatible with both natural gas and LPG, giving operators flexibility across different site configurations.
• Bench model format integrates easily into existing kitchen layouts without requiring a dedicated floor stand, saving space and installation costs.
