Waldorf CHB8450G-B Bold - 450mm Gas Chargrill - Bench Model

Waldorf CHB8450G-B Bold 450mm Gas Chargrill - Bench Model

The Waldorf Bold CHB8450G-B is a 450mm wide bench-model gas chargrill built for high-volume commercial kitchens. Manufactured in New Zealand from 304 stainless steel, it delivers 48MJ/hr (13.3 kW) through a single stainless steel burner, producing authentic char marks and consistent high heat across the entire grill surface. Default colour is black, with additional colour options available to suit kitchen fit-out requirements.

Engineered for straightforward daily use, the chargrill features reversible heavy-duty cast iron grates set at an inclined angle with a flare-reducing fin design that channels grease forward into a front collection trough. The radiants, burners and grease tray baffles are all independently removable, making cleaning and servicing fast and accessible. Each burner is equipped with pilot ignition and automatic gas cut-off on flame extinction, supporting safe operation throughout service.

Key Benefits

• Consistent, intense radiant heat produces defined char marks on meats and vegetables, replicating traditional chargrill results in a commercial setting.
• Inclined grate design with flare-reducing fin grooves directs grease away from the flame into a front collection channel, reducing flare-ups and improving food quality.
• Reversible heavy-duty cast iron grates extend the usable life of the cooking surface and allow operators to adapt grill marks or surface profile as needed.
• Every burner incorporates pilot ignition alongside automatic gas shut-off whenever a flame is extinguished, supporting kitchen safety compliance.
• Each of the radiants, burners and grease tray baffles can be individually removed for fast, thorough cleaning and simplified maintenance, minimising downtime during service.
• Heat-resistant reinforced control knobs withstand the rigours of a busy kitchen environment and maintain reliable temperature control over time.
• Variable high-low temperature control gives chefs precise heat management for different proteins, vegetables and finishing tasks.
• Compatible with both natural gas and LPG connections (R 3/4 BSP male), providing flexibility for various site configurations.
• Backed by a 24-month warranty and Waldorf's reputation for durable, New Zealand-made commercial cooking equipment.
