Waldorf BPL8120E 800 Series - 1200mm Electric Tilting Bratt Pan Low Back Version

Waldorf BPL8120E 800 Series 1200mm Electric Tilting Bratt Pan – Low Back Configuration

The Waldorf BPL8120E is a 1200mm wide, 120-litre electric tilting bratt pan from the 800 Series, manufactured in New Zealand for demanding commercial kitchen environments. Three 5.66kW stainless steel heating elements running on a 415V three-phase supply deliver consistent, even heat across the pan base, which is milled to 12mm thickness for uniform heat distribution. Thermostatic control spans 50 to 320°C, and an over-temperature safety cut-out ensures reliable, protected operation throughout service.

The unit is built around a heavy-duty galvanised steel chassis fitted with 304 stainless steel panels, and the pan body is formed from 2mm stainless steel with a 12mm thick base plate that eliminates hot spots. A robustly engineered lid assembly uses a spring-counterbalanced hinge mechanism, and the 1.5mm 304 stainless steel lid can serve as additional bench workspace when the pan is in active use. The fully modular design makes the BPL8120E straightforward to install alongside other 800 Series equipment and easy to access for routine servicing and cleaning.

Key Benefits

• 120-litre capacity handles large batch cooking, reducing the number of cooking cycles needed during high-volume service periods.
• The 12mm thick stainless steel base plate spreads heat evenly across the entire cooking surface, minimising hot spots and improving consistency from edge to centre.
• Thermostatic control ranging from 50 to 320°C accommodates a broad spectrum of cooking methods, from gentle poaching and simmering through to high-temperature searing and frying.
• The manually operated tilting handwheel with fold-away handle enables controlled, safe pouring into large receiving vessels without requiring additional staff.
• A large-capacity pouring spout channels food and liquids precisely during tilting, reducing spillage and speeding transfer between vessels.
• The over-temperature safety cut-out protects both the equipment and kitchen staff if operating temperatures exceed safe limits.
• When the pan is in use, the 1.5mm 304 stainless steel lid folds back to provide a supplementary preparation surface, maximising usable bench space in the kitchen.
• 63mm diameter stainless steel legs fitted with adjustable feet allow precise levelling on uneven floors, ensuring stable operation and accurate pouring.
• Fully modular construction simplifies installation alongside other 800 Series units and allows straightforward access for routine servicing and cleaning.
