Thermaster WD456G 456L Chest Freezer with Flat Glass Sliding Lids

Thermaster WD456G 456L Chest Freezer with Flat Glass Sliding Lids

The Thermaster WD456G is a 456-litre commercial chest freezer designed for high-demand frozen storage in busy kitchens, venues, and retail environments. It maintains a temperature range of -18°C to -22°C and is rated for operation in ambient conditions up to 32°C at 55% humidity, making it well suited to the Australian commercial setting. The unit runs on R290 natural refrigerant and carries a 6-star energy rating, reflecting a strong commitment to energy efficiency without compromising freezing performance.

Constructed with an aluminium ABS cabinet frame and aluminium-lined interior walls, the WD456G is built for durability and easy cleaning. The flat LOW-E tempered glass sliding lids offer clear product visibility while minimising cold air loss, and the integrated door lock keeps contents secure. Six removable baskets allow flexible organisation of frozen stock, while castors provide effortless repositioning on the floor. Digital controls, an energy-saving fan, LED internal lighting, and a low-noise compressor round out a unit that balances practicality with operational efficiency.

Key Benefits

• Consistent deep freezing from -18°C to -22°C keeps all frozen stock safely within food safety requirements during even the busiest service periods.
• Six-star energy rating combined with an energy-saving fan and efficient compressor helps reduce electricity costs over the long term.
• LOW-E tempered glass sliding lids allow staff to quickly identify and retrieve products without fully opening the freezer, reducing cold air loss and improving service speed.
• Six removable internal baskets enable organised stock rotation and easy access to different product categories without rummaging.
• Castors make repositioning the unit straightforward for cleaning underneath or reconfiguring a kitchen layout without requiring additional equipment.
• R290 natural refrigerant is an environmentally responsible choice with a very low global warming potential, supporting sustainability goals.
• Aluminium-lined interior walls are hygienic, smooth to clean, and resistant to the moisture and temperature cycling typical in commercial freezer use.
• Integrated door lock protects frozen inventory from unauthorised access, reducing shrinkage and maintaining food safety compliance.
• Digital controls and LED internal lighting make monitoring and accessing frozen stock quick and accurate during service.
