Polar UA049-A U-Series Four Door Counter Fridge 553Ltr

Polar UA049-A U-Series Four Door Counter Fridge 553Ltr

The Polar UA049-A is a high-capacity four door counter fridge from the premium U-Series range, purpose-built for busy professional kitchens, cafes, bars and restaurants. Combining a generous 553 litre total capacity with a practical worktop surface, it delivers reliable forced air refrigeration across a wide ambient temperature range up to 43°C, making it well suited to demanding commercial environments.

Constructed throughout in stainless steel and fitted with self-closing doors, adjustable shelves and built-in castors, the UA049-A is designed for both operational efficiency and ease of maintenance. Its A-grade energy rating, advanced insulation and automatic defrost system help keep running costs in check, while 1/1 GN compatibility allows trays to move directly between this unit and blast chillers, combi ovens or freezers without changing containers.

Key Benefits

• Forced air cooling maintains a consistent temperature throughout the cabinet even during frequent door openings, reducing food waste and preserving product quality.
• Self-closing doors limit temperature fluctuations and unnecessary energy draw, lowering both running costs and the risk of food safety incidents during busy service.
• 1/1 GN tray compatibility streamlines kitchen workflow, allowing ingredients to transfer directly to other equipment without re-containerising.
• A-grade energy rating combined with advanced insulation keeps electricity consumption to a minimum over long operating hours.
• Automatic defrost prevents ice build-up and maintains peak cooling efficiency without requiring manual intervention.
• Built-in castors make it straightforward to move the unit for thorough cleaning underneath and around it at the end of service.
• Stainless steel construction throughout is durable, hygienic and quick to wipe down, supporting high kitchen cleanliness standards.
• Digital temperature controls and display give staff precise, at-a-glance monitoring to ensure product is always held within the safe operating range.
