The Polar UA015-A is a commercial blast chiller and freezer from the premium U-Series range, purpose-built for busy commercial kitchens, cafes, restaurants and food service operations. Constructed entirely from stainless steel inside and out, it rapidly drives food temperatures through the danger zone, reaching 3°C from a starting point of 70°C within 90 minutes during chilling mode, and bringing food down to -18°C from 70°C in 240 minutes when operating in blast freeze mode. These rapid temperature reductions preserve taste, texture, moisture and nutritional value while satisfying food hygiene and HACCP requirements.

An intuitive LCD smartphone-style touchscreen controller makes programming straightforward, allowing operators to select pre-set cycles or store custom 'recipes' for specific products. The unit accommodates five GN 1/1 containers, features a built-in food probe for precise temperature monitoring and record-keeping, a reversible door for flexible installation, and lockable castors for easy repositioning during cleaning or maintenance. Powered by the low-GWP R290 refrigerant with a global warming potential of just 3, it reflects a responsible approach to environmental impact without compromising on cooling performance.
