Polar GP486-A G-Series Multideck Fridge with Triple Doors

Polar GP486-A G-Series Multideck Fridge with Triple Doors

The Polar GP486-A is a large-format triple-door multideck display fridge from the G-Series commercial refrigeration range, purpose-built for high-footfall environments such as cafes, bars, restaurants and food service operations. With a 1156-litre capacity across an 1830mm wide cabinet, it provides generous merchandising space for chilled food and drinks, making it equally suited to front-of-house retail display and back-of-house storage applications.

Designed with running costs in mind, the GP486-A combines forced air cooling, automatic defrost, self-closing double-glazed lockable doors, and energy-efficient LED lighting to maintain consistent temperatures between 2°C and 8°C while minimising energy consumption. The unit runs on the low-GWP R290 refrigerant, and colour-changeable LED lighting with remote control allows the display ambience to be tailored to suit any front-of-house aesthetic.

Key Benefits

• Triple glass doors create an eye-catching display that drives impulse purchases while keeping product at the correct serving temperature throughout busy service periods.
• Colour-changeable LED lighting, adjustable via remote control, lets operators match the cabinet's display lighting to their venue's aesthetic without interrupting service.
• Self-closing, double-glazed doors combined with 60mm insulation reduce cold air loss and help lower ongoing energy costs.
• Lockable doors protect stock from unauthorised access during closed hours, improving security without requiring additional hardware.
• Twelve adjustable shelves provide versatile merchandising configurations that can be reconfigured quickly as stock requirements change.
• Forced air cooling distributes temperature evenly throughout the entire cabinet, keeping every shelf consistent and product fresh and presentable.
• Automatic defrost reduces manual maintenance requirements and helps sustain efficient operation over the long term.
• Castors allow the unit to be repositioned easily for routine cleaning or floor layout changes without heavy lifting.
• R290 refrigerant carries a global warming potential of just 3, supporting venues working to reduce the environmental footprint of their refrigeration equipment.
