Merrychef conneX 12 SP High Speed Cook Oven

The Merrychef conneX 12 SP is a compact, all-in-one high speed commercial oven engineered for cafés, quick service restaurants, bakeries, convenience stores, kiosks, hotels, and other fast-paced hospitality venues. It combines three heat technologies — microwave, convection, and tuned impingement — to cook, toast, grill, reheat, and finish fresh or frozen food at speeds up to 20 times faster than conventional cooking methods, all from a single countertop unit.

Designed for true plug-and-play installation, the conneX 12 SP operates from a standard single phase 15A power supply and fits neatly on a 600mm bench depth without requiring costly electrical upgrades or a traditional extraction hood, thanks to its built-in catalytic converter ventless system. The intuitive 7-inch HD easyTouch 2.0 colour touchscreen stores unlimited multi-stage recipe programs, and quiet operation below 48 dBA makes it equally suited to front-of-house and back-of-house environments.

Key Benefits

• Cooks up to 20 times faster than conventional ovens, dramatically reducing wait times and increasing throughput during peak service periods.
• Ventless operation via the integrated catalytic converter removes the need for an external extraction hood, simplifying installation and reducing fit-out costs.
• Plug-and-play 15A single phase connection means no expensive electrical infrastructure upgrades are required before the oven can go into service.
• Fits on standard 600mm deep benches and cool-to-touch exterior surfaces allow zero clearance at the sides and back, maximising use of limited counter space.
• Multi-stage recipe storage with pictorial and written instructions on the easyTouch 2.0 controller minimises staff training time and ensures consistent results across all operators.
• Self-diagnostics capability continuously monitors internal components, helping to identify issues early and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Quiet operation below 48 dBA keeps the working environment comfortable, whether the oven is positioned in a customer-facing area or a busy kitchen.
• Energy efficient design with rapid pre-heat and cool-down cycles and low standby power consumption reduces operating costs over time.
• USB and Wi-Fi/ethernet connectivity allow quick menu updates and remote data transfer, keeping cooking programs current without disrupting service.
