Goldstein PFB36G2-X 800 X-Series Gas Cooktop

Goldstein PFB36G2-X 800 X-Series Gas Cooktop – 2 Burner & 914mm Griddle

The Goldstein PFB36G2-X is an Australian-made commercial gas cooktop from the 800 X-Series, combining two high-performance 33 MJ open burners with a heavy-duty 914 x 520 x 20mm mild steel griddle plate positioned on the left-hand side. Fully welded steel construction, stainless steel fascia and sides, and a modular design philosophy make this unit a versatile centrepiece for busy commercial kitchens.

Designed for flexibility and ease of use, the PFB36G2-X features a constant pilot flame with flame failure safety on all open burners, removable cast iron star trivets, large heat-resistant reinforced control knobs, and integrated spill zones with drip trays for straightforward cleaning. The modular X-Series platform supports a wide range of configurations combining open burners, griddle plates and chargrill sections in 305, 610, 914 and 1219mm increments to suit virtually any kitchen layout.

Key Benefits

• Two 33 MJ open burners deliver rapid, responsive heat for high-volume cooking, with 40% of flame ports concentrated in the centre cross for even heat distribution across cookware.
• A 20mm thick mild steel griddle plate provides a substantial, heat-retaining cooking surface ideal for proteins, vegetables and breakfast items, with dedicated 20 MJ burners per every 305mm section maintaining consistent temperatures.
• Flame failure safety on all open burners automatically cuts gas flow if the flame is extinguished, protecting kitchen staff and reducing safety compliance risk.
• Constant pilot flame ignition maximises operational efficiency and speeds up service readiness at the start of each shift.
• Removable cast iron star trivets and a fully welded steel body simplify daily cleaning and reduce downtime, while spill zones and drip trays contain mess and protect the unit's internals.
• Adjustable legs (140–170mm) allow the cooktop to be levelled precisely on uneven floors, ensuring stable, safe operation.
• The modular X-Series design allows the cooktop to be combined with additional burner, griddle or chargrill sections in multiple width increments, giving operators the freedom to expand or reconfigure as menu needs evolve.
• Made in Australia with a heavy-duty fully welded stainless steel body for long-term rigidity and durability under continuous commercial use.
• Available with an optional stand with undershelf, providing added storage and bringing the unit to a practical working height.
