Fagor CG7-40H 700 Series Natural Gas 4 Burner Stainless Steel Boiling Top
The Fagor CG7-40H is part of the 700 Series range, designed to deliver uncompromising performance in demanding commercial kitchen environments. Constructed from 1.5 mm thick AISI-304 stainless steel with laser-cut joints and automatic welding, the unit combines a robust build with refined ergonomics and an attractive finish that reflects Fagor Industrial's longstanding quality standards.
Featuring four cast iron double-crown burners with nickel-plated diffusers, safety thermocouples, and low-consumption pilot ignition, this boiling top ensures even heat distribution across the base of pans of all sizes. Practical design details such as front access to components, hidden screws, water-infiltration-resistant controls, and a fat collector beneath the grates make daily operation and cleaning straightforward in any busy service environment.
Key Benefits
- Even heat distribution from double-crown burners and nickel-plated cast iron diffusers prevents hot spots and optimises energy transfer to cookware, improving cooking consistency.
- Safety thermocouples and low-consumption pilot lights are recessed within the burner body, providing greater protection and reliable ignition with minimal gas wastage.
- RAAF-enamelled cast iron grates resist alkaline and acid products, fire, and high temperatures, ensuring long service life even under heavy daily use.
- A reduced 75 mm spacing between central grate bars accommodates pots as small as 8 cm in diameter, preventing small cookware from tipping and broadening menu versatility.
- Front access to internal components and flexible stainless steel gas pipes simplify routine maintenance and repairs, reducing downtime.
- Water-infiltration-resistant control supports and hidden screws protect internal workings and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
- A fat collector positioned beneath the grates catches drips and spills, keeping the cooktop tidier and making end-of-service cleaning faster.
- A high-temperature enamelled cast iron flue protector sits flush with the grates, expanding the usable cooking surface and supporting larger cookware with ease.
- The 700 Series warranty covers 2 years parts and labour plus a further 2 years parts only when the product is registered within 14 days of invoice, providing strong long-term support.
