The Blue Seal GP518-LS is a heavy-duty 1200mm gas griddle mounted on a leg stand, forming part of the Evolution Series designed and built in New Zealand for demanding commercial kitchen environments. The unit features a 20mm thick smooth mild steel griddle plate with solid, seamless top-weld construction, delivering outstanding heat retention and even heat distribution across a generous 1192mm x 530mm cooking surface of 6318cm². Three independent thermostats provide precise temperature control from 90°C to 300°C, supported by a 108MJ/hr thermostatic burner system with eight burners, making it equally capable of handling high-volume breakfast service, burgers, seafood and a wide range of griddled foods.
Operational practicality is built into every detail of the GP518-LS. Push-button piezo ignition delivers fast, safe start-up, while heavy-duty reinforced control knobs ensure accurate, reliable operation during busy service periods. A stainless steel grease drawer simplifies clean-down, and the overall design is engineered for easy cleaning, installation and servicing. Adjustable feet provide stable levelling on uneven floors, and two additional rollers make repositioning straightforward. A suite-matching undershelf and 165mm splashback are included, and the unit is available in Natural Gas or LPG configuration. Optional ribbed or chrome mirror plate surfaces are also available to suit specific cooking requirements.
