Austheat AF812R Freestanding Electric Fryer rapid recovery, 2 baskets

Austheat AF812R Freestanding Electric Fryer – Rapid Recovery, 2 Baskets

The Austheat AF812R is an Australian-made freestanding electric deep fryer built for high-volume commercial kitchens in restaurants, cafes, takeaway shops, stadiums, aged care facilities, and quick-service environments. It features a single 33-litre pan, carries 2.1 kW more power than the standard AF812 model, and is engineered for rapid temperature recovery between batches – reaching 180°C in approximately 9 minutes and delivering an hourly output of around 35 kg of thick, thawed chips per hour.

Constructed with robust 1.5 mm stainless steel tank walls and a clean, smooth open-tank design, the AF812R pairs a cook/idle dual-thermostat control system with manual-reset over-temperature cut-outs for safe, cost-conscious continuous operation. Rear castors and adjustable front legs make repositioning straightforward, and the unit can be joined modularly with additional fryers using the optional tank joining cover (SS1794), making it a flexible long-term investment for growing kitchens.

Key Benefits

• Faster recovery between loads thanks to 2.1 kW more power than the AF812, keeping service moving during peak periods without extended wait times between batches.
• Approximately 9-minute heat-up time to 180°C reduces startup downtime and gets the kitchen producing quickly.
• Cook/idle thermostat switching lowers energy consumption during quieter periods, reducing operating costs without turning the unit off completely.
• Swing-out heating elements provide easy access to the smooth open tank, making cleaning faster and reducing labour time between services.
• Lockable 1-inch drain simplifies oil changes and tank cleaning, minimising mess and downtime.
• Electric immersion elements produce less ambient heat than gas alternatives, contributing to a cooler and cleaner kitchen environment.
• Rear castors combined with adjustable front legs allow straightforward repositioning for cleaning, maintenance, or reconfiguration.
• Modular compatibility with optional joining cover SS1794 allows multiple units to be configured side by side, scaling capacity to match demand.
• Australian made with a 12-month parts and labour warranty, supporting local service and providing confidence in build quality and after-sales support.
